About the Campaign

Anandee Maa – Save a Life Campaign is a flagship public health awareness initiative of Stree Welfare Foundation, dedicated to promoting awareness about Cervical Cancer Prevention, HPV Vaccination, Early Screening, and Women's Health Education.

The campaign is built on a simple yet powerful belief:

"Timely awareness and preventive care can save countless lives."

By educating adolescent girls, women, students, teachers, and communities, the initiative aims to reduce the burden of cervical cancer and encourage a healthier future for every family.

Our mission is not only to spread awareness but also to inspire preventive action through education, vaccination, and community participation.

Why This Campaign Matters

Cervical Cancer is one of the most preventable cancers affecting women. Despite the availability of effective preventive measures such as HPV Vaccination, regular health screening, and early diagnosis, many women remain unaware of these life-saving interventions.

Universities and educational institutions play a vital role in shaping future generations. By educating young women today, we empower them to protect themselves, support their families, and become ambassadors of health awareness in society.

Key Objectives

1. Women's Health Awareness

• Educate women and girls about Cervical Cancer, its causes, symptoms, risk factors, and prevention.
• Encourage regular health check-ups and early detection.

2. HPV Vaccination Awareness

• Increase public understanding of the importance and safety of HPV Vaccination.
• Motivate eligible girls and women to receive timely vaccination.

3. Youth Leadership & Community Engagement

• Develop university students as Health Awareness Ambassadors.
• Collaborate with NSS Units, Women Cells, Health Centres, Student Organizations, and Social Committees.

4. Building a Cancer-Free Society

• Remove fear, myths, and misconceptions surrounding cervical cancer.
• Promote scientific awareness and preventive healthcare.
• Encourage community participation in public health initiatives.

The initiative is progressing under the guidance and encouragement of the Hon'ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh, with the vision of reaching every educational institution and promoting preventive healthcare among young women.
